In this video I talk about why are melon plants dying. Some melon plants are dying and there are nice melons on the vine. I found the issue was a fat rat in the garden. The rat is chewing on vines and on the melons themselves. I have placed several traps in the garden to try to end this issue. So far the sticky trap has caught a rat. The garden this year has several visitors in the garden. I decided to use garlic, onions, and black pepper as an animal repellant.
