I’m going to show you how to harvest honeydew melons. I have 5 harvesting tips that will guide you to know when to harvest your melons. I had a hard time in the past picking ripe melons off the vine. The skin of rind needs to be yellow. If its green or white it’s not right. The weight of the melon is important as well. If it feels heavy that is a sign that its ready. The next tip is the rind is bumpy on the side of it where it touched the ground. Finally when I push down on the belly button it is soft. I mean the melon has an area where there is a little give when pressing down on the melon.
