Spring is in full swing, and I wanted to share a quick update on how things are growing in my garden! My cabbages are thriving, and I’ve been staying on top of fertilizing them—which has made a big difference. The lettuce I started hydroponically is also doing amazing since transitioning to the garden. It’s been so rewarding to see it take off! I’m still watching my beets closely; they’re growing, but I’m not totally sure how they’re doing yet. And I have some thyme transplants that still need to be potted up—another task on the list!

I’m also really excited because I might be getting some radishes soon—they’re starting to show signs of growth! In the same bed, I have four cucumber plants—two of which are already in the ground, while the other two are waiting to be transplanted. I added some bush beans alongside them, and I’m curious to see how they’ll grow together since this is my first time trying that combo.

One of the highlights of this season so far has been my seven tomato plants that I started from seed in grow bags—they’re looking absolutely fabulous. Most of the seedlings I started indoors have already been transferred to the garden, with just a few more waiting for their turn. It’s been a fun, hands-on journey, and I’m loving every bit of it as a new gardener. Stick around to follow along with my progress!
