Serena Glover national inline speed skate champion (17 years old).

Hello, we are Serena Glover (17) and Ayden Glover (16 ). We are both professional Inline Speed Skaters, two of the top speed skaters in our divisions in The United States of America. We have been skating a total of 11 years. I (Serena) have been a World Class athlete for 3 years. At 14 as a first year Junior World Class athlete, I made the top position on Team USA. Competed in China on injuries and placed 5th in the world. Over the last 2 years I was unable to compete because of those same injuries. Some of My Major accomplishments are: 7 times Regional Champion, 30 plus Gold medal Indoor and Outdoor National Titles , and 5 times overall National Champion. Ayden will be returning for the second year trying out for Team USA. He is a multi time Regional and National Champion indoors and outdoors This year our goal is to become a multi-time World Champion for my country. To accomplish this we need International training and race experience. When we started speed skating our goal was to be the best in the world and that drive hasn’t changed. We train 6 days a week 4-6 hours a daywith our trainer and coaches.
Because our sport doesn’t provide funding for training, travel, lodging, and food, It’s all mostly parent funded. So when it comes to International travel, training, and racing we have to find support from great people like you. The International training and race venues we believe are very important for us to accomplish our goals. We start with three weeks of Training and Racing in April 2020 USISS Training Camp and Competitions in Geisingen, Germany. In May our USA team trials, Outdoor Nationals is in Coloroda, Springs. Indoor Nationals in Des Moine, Iowa will follow in July. Finally the big stage, the World Championships in Cartagena, Colombia if we make the Junior United States Team!
