Republicans moved forward with a health care vote while allowing ACA subsidies to expire at year’s end. Years of promises to repeal and replace the ACA produced nothing but “concepts of a plan,” leaving families exposed to sudden cost spikes. This wasn’t an accident — lawmakers knew exactly what would happen and voted anyway.
