My #radishes Failed to Grow… And I Learned the Hard Way!

Growing radishes seemed so simple, but I hit a major roadblock—they never grew to maturity! After some digging (pun intended), I realized the problem: I planted them during the summer when it was way too hot outside. Radishes are cold-weather crops that thrive in temperatures between 50-70°F. Planting them in the heat caused them to focus on leafy growth instead of forming those delicious bulbs.

In this video, I share my experience as a new gardener and the lessons I’ve learned from this radish fail. I’ll also talk about what I’m doing differently now that cooler weather has arrived and why timing is everything with these quick-growing vegetables.
