I Wasn’t Expecting THIS in My Garden Today!

You won’t believe what I discovered in my container garden today—a surprise I definitely wasn’t expecting! While checking on my lettuce, I noticed mushrooms growing in the soil right next to them. I’ve never seen this happen before in my garden, especially not in containers! These lettuces were started hydroponically and then transferred to soil about a week later, so this little mushroom invasion totally caught me off guard.

Although mushrooms can be a sign of healthy, organic matter in the soil, I’ll definitely be removing them. They don’t look very appealing sitting next to my fresh greens, and I’d rather not take any chances.
