Have y’all ever heard of companion planting? This term is fairly new to me and little did I know, I was already doing it in my garden. Companion planting is growing plants together so they can help one another. They can provide shade to their neighboring plant, repel pest, attract beneficial ones and even help with using up your garden space more efficiently. The companion plants that I mention in my video are the vegetables that I already have in my small garden. Cabbage and parsley are great companion plants. So are cabbage with rosemary. Green onions can also act as great companion plants for carrots, cabbages, kale, lettuce, beets, and swiss chard.
