How to Save Seeds the Easy Way?

In this video I’m showing you Some Seed Storage Ideas that I use for collecting seeds. These Ideas help with saving seeds correctly and it saves Money. Once you learn how to save the seeds you will have seeds for a lifetime. The first thing to do is to clean the seeds so they won’t have the sticky juice stuck to them. In the video I soak the seeds to make sure they are clean. Soaking Seeds keeps them clean before the drying process. I normally let them stay in the water for a full day. Seed cleaning is a must in order to persevere thr life of the seed. After that I lay the seeds on paper towel to finish drying out. There should be no more sticky juice on the seeds before sealing them in snack bags. The snack bags keeps the seeds in an air tight space. Once the seeds are in the bag, Labeling seeds is the next important step. You don’t want to mix up all the seeds that was harvested. Rotating seeds is something I do at the end of the growing season. I normally keep seeds about 3 to 4 years. After that I place them in the trash can. I don’t want to hold on the seeds for 6 or 7 years. In the past I placed the seeds in the refrigerator but I place them in a big bag and sat them into a closet. When I stopped putting them in the refrigerator, I did not notice a difference in germination that’s why I don’t save them in the refrigerator Remember Harvesting Seeds save lots of money and it’s totally cool to do.
