How to Grow Greens in the Fall?

In today’s video I’m showing how to grow greens in the fall. The greens that will be planted are collard greens.You will learn some of my best tips to grow collard. The raised bed I’m planting is 4×8. I am planting the greens in a square foot because of the square garden method is bebeing used. Collards can only be planted in a square foot. Planting more that will stunt the growth. The plant will not grow big. This bed had corn in it but as the Collards grow, they will be mulched by the grinded corn plants. This is going to add nutrients to the plant and soil. I also applied banana peel fertilizer to the planting hole. When the fertilizer breaks down it will provide potassium which will strengthen the root structure. After planting the seedlings I used liquid fish fertilizer to help with transplant shock.
