HARVESTING & COOKING Banana Blossom | Vegan Fried Fish Recipe!

This week, we’ll be harvesting AND cooking THE FLOWER of a banana rack 🤯 Yes, you read that right. Soo, let’s go!!

For this recipe you’ll need:
– 1 immature banana blossom
– Bowl of water
– 1 lime/lemon (or salt)
– 4 cups of flour
– 2 tablespoons of salt
– 1/2 cup of potato starch (you can use corn or tapioca too)
– 1 tablespoon of cayenne
– 4 seaweed sheets (blended)
– 1 tablespoon of oregano
– 1 teaspoon of basil
– aquafava or milk (for wet dredge)
– 2 tablespoons of nori flakes
– 2 tablespoons of onion powder
– 2 tablespoons of garlic powder

In this video, I’ll be harvesting and featuring the beautiful fruits and vegetables that are ripening.
Our beds feature the no dig or lasagna style soil makeup and only has organic seeds sown or transplants. The garden is currently 85% planted from seed or cuttings including the trees.
