Hot Mushroom Compost + Juicing, Carrot French Fries & More!!!

Welcome back, Lovers!
This week, we’re frolicking around the garden (per usual) and getting 5 cubic yards of mushroom compost delivered to our homestead!! This is SO exciting because #floridagarden’s are NOTORIOUS for their fast-draining, sandy soils. That will no longer be our plight! This time next year, our garden beds will be swooning with life and biodiversity while our crops dance and mingle with the beneficial microbes, that will then be well established, in the soil.
We will be making a video of the entire process we went through, from acquiring the soil, putting it into the beds, and just how much it developed our soil, once we are done with this pile. So stay tuned!!

Our beds feature the no dig or lasagna style soil makeup and only has organic seeds sown or transplants. The garden is currently 85% planted from seed or cuttings including the trees.
