In this video, I am bring out out what I think to be the best gardening tools for beginners, especially if you are on a budget. You’re going to need some things to start your garden as a beginner.

The first thing you’re going to need will be garden gloves. You need your garden gloves so your hands don’t get dirty, your nails, etc. Although I keep my nails short, they still get dirty if I am not protecting it with gloves.

Water pitcher- The watcher pitcher is used to water your plants. You only need a small pitcher especially if you have a small garden.

Hand Fork- You need a hand fork to till your soil if it is compact so that water can seep through when you’re watering.

Garden shovel- A garden shovel is needed to dig through the soil, transferring soil to containers, etc. Very handy tool.

Scissors- They are needed to prune your vegetables and to thin them as well. You don’t need to buy expensive pruning shears. Scissors will do just fine.

Containers- These will be used when you are planting your vegetables. There are a lot of great vegetables that grow well in containers and these can be purchased at the dollar store, goodwill, or use ones that you already have at home.

Kitchen scraps- Its not a tool but essential to make your own DIY natural fertilizer, compost, etc. So save your kitchen scraps!

Stool and knee support- There will be a lot of bending and you want to ensure that your back and knee receive all of the support they need. So invest in something that will support hem.

Soil sifter- Soil sifters are great to remove the wood chips from the soil. This will make for smooth soil that your seedlings can grow in.
